Active acne is managed before any resurfacing is attempted. The programme combines sebum and inflammation control, medical extraction and barrier repair, with treatment adjusted as lesions settle rather than run as a fixed package.
Suitability is assessed at consultation. Where a combination approach gives a better result than a single modality, that is what will be recommended — and where a treatment is not warranted, that will be said plainly.
