Is the device genuine, and can I see the tip opened? Consumables with a fixed shot count — Thermage tips, Ultherapy transducers — are the most commonly counterfeited items in aesthetic medicine. A clinic that uses genuine stock will not hesitate.
Who performs the treatment? In some clinics the consultation is with a doctor and the procedure is not. Ask directly.
What happens if I do nothing? A clinic willing to tell you that a treatment is not yet warranted is telling you something useful about how it will advise you later.
